State turning down federal sex ed funds

Looks like a few states are getting wise to the Bush administration and the strings imposed on some federal funds.

This article from The Los Angeles Times illustrates a major problem with many federally funded programs promoted by the Bush White House - they are more focused on a political agenda than actually helping people, even to the point of providing false or misleading information. Last October the Government Accountability Office issued a report after examining 10 abstinence programs that concluded they were not proven to work and often contained inaccuracies about condoms and AIDS. It's only taken six years, but the American people are finally waking up to the truth about about this administration.
