Bush at the United Nations

Here are some exerpts from Bush's speech at the United Nations yesterday.
Imagine what it's like to be a young person living in a country that is not moving toward reform. You're 21 years old, and while your peers in other parts of the world are casting their ballots for the first time, you are powerless to change the course of your government. [Sounds a bit like America under Bush.]

My country desires peace. [Too bad it's leader doesn't.]

We respect Islam ... [Huh? Since when?]

Our goal is to help you build a more tolerant and hopeful society that honors people of all faiths and promotes the peace. [Is he back on the white powder?]

To the people of Iran, the United States respects you. [But only as long as you have oil.]

To the people of Darfur, you have suffered unspeakable violence. And my nation has called these atrocities what they are: genocide. [We just can't be bothered to do anything about it.]

Freedom, by its nature, cannot be imposed. It must be chosen. [But we'll make the choice for you.]
