Lawyers Cheat Clients, Pay Price

The Kentucky Supreme Court suspended three lawyers for mishandling and/or misappropriating millions of dollars in a fen-phen case.
n a 6-0 ruling, the court found that there is probable cause that the lawyers misappropriated funds held for others for their own use "or have been otherwise improperly dealing with said funds."

The ruling means that the lawyers cannot practice law until the merits of the complaints against them are decided. They were ordered to notify clients of their suspension and to stop advertising.

The poor dears. Maybe they'll now have to find real work.
