Patriot Act Response
Doug Thompson over at Capitol Hill Blue has found himself in a dilemma.
It seems that the busheviks are going after journalists who are critical of the current White House residents by using the (un)Patriot Act.
Using provisions of that dubious law, the justice dept has requested the owner of the hosting company Thompson uses to provide them with traffic data, payment records and other information about the web site along with information the publisher. Oh, and they are forbidden to tell the target (Thompson) that the information is being sought.
The problem is, Thompson also owns the hosting company, so he has to provide the feds with information on himself, without telling himself about it.

Thompson's response:
I turned the letter over to my lawyer and told him to send the following message to the feds:Now, that's a real patriot, in my book.
Fuck you. Strong letter to follow.
